As we approach our Annual Meeting on June 25th, we are reflecting on this past year. A year that has brought moments of joy, connection and growth, as well as sorrow and concern. The recent tragedies in Boulder, Colorado and Washington, DC give us further pause to reflect and ultimately, crystallize our sense of purpose and resolve.

One year ago our board of directors began a series of strategic planning retreats, where we met to discuss our strengths and potential here in Sonoma County. After three decades of service, weathered by global events, and changes to our non-profit landscape we’re approaching this ‘25-’26 fiscal year with renewed purpose and perspective.

We have been led, and affirmed through this process by our shared Jewish Values. The power of kehillah, community, has been especially resonant, as seen in our 2 year olds gathering for Shabbat, to friends meeting before a Jewish film, to the welcoming enthusiasm for the weekly eNews. 

​

This kehillah has been proven by dedicated hearts of our staff members, board members, volunteers, donors and sponsors alike, for whom Sonoma County is stronger.
