  • Harmonia Schvesters: Le'ah Lippin and Gale Kissin - The HarmoniaSchvesters are honored to be included at Simcha Sunday 2011!  We look forward, through our music, to sharing the poignancy, the humor and the humanity embedded in our Yiddishkeit.  Laurie Lippin is a Klezmer (formerly an accordionist with the Red Hot Chachkas).  Gale Kissin is a Yiddish folksinger and guitarist.  The two have teamed up to be a new Yiddish duo with legitimate Old World roots.  They will be joined for this performance by noted guitarist, Suzanne Shanbaum.

  • Ben Kramarz- Ben Kramarz is a songleader, musician, and Jewish educator who has sung and learned with groups of all ages from California to Jerusalem.  Ben was born and raised in the Bay Area and holds a degree in Religious Studies from UC Berkeley.  He currently songleads and teaches at several synagogues and other Jewish agencies in the Bay Area including Beth Sholom (SF), Beth El (Berkeley), and B’nai Tikvah (Walnut Creek).
