The JCC presents a vast array of traditional Jewish foods every year at Simcha Sunday. This year we're offering:

  • Grilled hot dogs with gourmet condiment bar
  • Mediterranean plates
  • Matzah ball soup
  • Knishes
  • Bagels
  • Hot and cold beverages
  • Dill pickles
  • Home-baked cookies, cupcakes, cakes, savory and sweet kugel (provided by the Friendship Circle)

  • Bruce Bierman, Jewish dance maven, will be offering a dance workshop and dance jam!  

 Experience the pure joy of Yemenite, Hasidic, Klezmer and Israeli folk dance with Bruce as he fits the moves of the ancestors to the grooves of your own imagination. All levels welcome. Feel free to dance without shoes, bring a drum if you like, and any Jewish dance costume you feel good dancing in such as galabi's (men's gown), billowing skirts, handsome vests, scarfs, prayer shawls and the like.
