Take a look at our diverse list of food vendors, community resources and artists who will be at Simcha Sunday - they want to get to know you! 

The JCC presents an array of traditional Jewish foods every year at Simcha Sunday. This year we're offering:

  • Grilled Hebrew National hot dogs with gourmet condiment bar
  • Knishes: potato and spinach with salad  - from Miller's East Coast Deli
  • Bagels and cream cheese
  • Beverages
  • Dill pickles
  • Home-baked cookies, cupcakes, cakes, savory and sweet kugel (provided by the Friendship Circle)

Food - Other Vendors

  • Nature's Serving, World Food, FastNature's Serving provides mobile mediterranean cuisine in their Eureka CA-based food truck, serving Humboldt County with fine falafel, pita and other specialty foods of Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Noon-12:30 Sonia Tubridy on accordian

12:30-1:15  Mama Loshn set

1:15-1:30 Challah judging contest

1:30-2:00 We're celebrating Fiddler On The Roof's 50th anniversary with a Sing-Along featuring Sonia Tubridy, Jalena Mays, Janine Bamberger, Sandy Andresen, Steve Einstein and Alby Kass

2:00-3:00 Bruce Bierman (Jewish dance maven) 15 minute dance lesson then dancing with Mama Loshn

3:00-4:00 Music jam session with drum circle. Extra performers to be announced.
